Tony Orlando - Thursday, May 11, 2006 - 8pm
Orlando’s “Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree” recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The song was number one for the whole year 1973 and became Orlando’s theme song. It also has become the American anthem of hope, homecoming and reunion. “Knock Three Times” was another one of Orlando’s hits that became number one and sold over six million copies worldwide. Some of his other hits include: “Sweet Gypsy Rose,” “He Don’t Love You,” “Who’s In the Strawberry Patch With Sally,” and “Mornin’ Beautiful.” Orlando also hosted a variety series on CBS from 1974 – 1976. Orlando has been awarded three American Music Awards, a People’s Choice Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1990.

B.B. has won a total of eight Grammy Awards and is considered by many as the “King of the Blues.” Some of B.B.’s most famous hits are: “Please Love Me,” “You Upset Me Baby,” “Sweet Sixteen, Part I,” “Don’t Answer the Door, Part I,” and “The Thrill Is Gone.”
